24-hour trading in global markets
Unlike the stock market, the world of Forex has no fixed trading hours because there is no specific exchange, and trading is available 24 hours a day. Since the market is active at different times of the day and has different characteristics, further knowledge of the market can give you an advantage in trading.
Of course, Jade FOREX is available for trading almost 24 hours a day, except for some maintenance hours and weekends, so you will never miss a trading opportunity. We will continue to pursue a comfortable and secure trading environment for our customers.

01.About GMT
GMT stands for Greenwich Mean Time and is the world standard time based on the Greenwich Observatory in London, which is located at 0° longitude. In Japan, where there is a nine-hour time difference, GMT+9 is used.
In New York, the largest market for forex trading, the winter time is GMT+2 and the summer time is GMT+3, one hour ahead of the summer time. This is called New York time, and trading is said to be most active during this New York time.
02.Jade FOREX Trading Hours
Jade FOREX uses New York time and the trading hours in Japan are as follows. During these hours, trading is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week via a dedicated platform. However, trading is not possible on Saturdays and Sundays, as most of the world's currency markets are closed. We will also be closed all day on January 1, when domestic and foreign banks are closed, as well as on Christmas Day, December 25, and New Year's Eve, December 31, when trading may be shortened, which will be announced in advance through notices and other means.

03.Active trading hours of the major forex markets
Currently, there are four main trading sessions in the forex market: Sydney, Tokyo, London, and New York. A session is a time period during which trading is available. Since these four cities represent the major financial centers of Asia, North America, and Europe, the names of these cities are used for each session. Below are the sessions for each major city.
The most active times for trading are from 8:00 to 9:00 GMT, when the London session overlaps with the Tokyo session, and from 13:00 to 17:00 GTM, when the London session overlaps with the New York session.
